i purchased an intercooler kit from a part out however one of the pipes is very badly dented, that elbow pipe also happens to be welded to the BOV flange pipe...

what is the best thing i can do that isn't too expensive? one of my friends recommended that i buy a piece of pipe and have a professional bend it for me. where would i have this done? is there a way to remove the BOV flange from the damaged elbow? I'm not very experienced with the process of welding.

You can get a piece of bent alum tubing and bring it to a shop to have them cut the dented part and weld on the new elbow.

^ exactly what i would do. buy a pre-bent pipe and have it welded back on. if you were really in a time crunch buy a silicone coupler and cut the new bent piece slightly shorter, then couple them together
