ok so last night has been the real test first time i went was early may i pulled a 9.9 in an all stock auto car.

i went last night with about 2000 miles since the headgaskit job on spearco replica 11 psi and hard pipes
ran a 9.07 in an auto car hiting fuel cut between 1st and 2nd.

so i dont want to get flamed on this
but would it be ok to put a FCD in just to keep from hiting cut between gears? i have a buddy who has one off a mkIV wondering if there the same would it be bad to run a FCD i figured it wouldent be that bad since it only does it between gears when it spikes

yeah the auto is bad ass man get up on the stall at the light and vroom gone wish i had a 3500 stall that way i could get full boost at the light... thats my winter project..

I vote that you do the Lex/550 mod instead of installing an FCD. Or bigger injectors and Maft Pro, or whatever you prefer. My car acted the same as yours last Fall after I installed my BIC DDP, which is why I went ahead and did the Lex/550 mod.

Also, I've been looking for a place that sells a stall converter at a decent price, but all the ones I can find cost $700 or more. Have you found one for less?

I remember the first time I ran a 9.00 at our local 1/8 mile track. I went to get my slip and the guy told me the printer had just ran out of paper........I litterally wanted to beat his eyes in.......lol
