I just recently swapped my old dead A340 to what i now know is a 1JZ auto. I was wondering if using a 92 ECT computer (assuming it fits) would be a worth while upgrade as ive read here. http://www.mkiiitech.com/forum/showthread.php?t=26
that the shift points were revised in 1992. If it works would i benefit in performance? Or will it hurt due to the lower redline on 90+ Supras? Im assuming that the ECT would just look at the ECU for Speed and RPM and then decide.
