Tuning newbie

This is my first import and I've never done any "tuning"per say. Can you hook a fuel controller/piggyback system to a N/A engine? What is the difference between a fuel controller and piggyback system? Can adding one of these stop a 7M-GE from running rich? Just trying to find out a little more. Thanks

Fuel controller is a piggy back. You could hook one to a 7mge and maybe make a couple more hp but prolly not worth it.

If your running excessivly rich then you have a problem.

>75% throttle will open the injectors pretty well 100%, it's a safety feature most manufacturers use to save the engine if thrashed as it can't make enough top end power to hurt itself.

As Hvy said you can pick up a little bit of power and some economy but the bang for $ just isn't there.

If you make a lot of changes to the motor you will need some sort of fuel control.
