Trim question

I was wondering if there was an aftermarket or outside trim that would directly mount on my '88 hard top? Something that could be painted to match the rest of the car.

Any other ideas or suggestions are welcome.

I'm not painting my current trim because if some surface buckling issues.

Which trim. Body trim or window trim?

Body trim switch to 89+ and paint them. Pre 89 rust.

Window trim strip the old broken faded plastic off and paint them or powder coat them. Can also plastidip but might not last all that long.

Are you familiar with any Australian or Canadian forums? I'm thinking about trying to source new oem trim that way. Or let's start searching for some of the toyota engineers and machinists and see if we can get the molds for the window trim and weather seals for the trim. I'm going to start calling TOYOTA as in other departments not dealerships. I mean I know we have some brains in here.
