Trans codes

I recently replaced the blown motor from my 87 with the same motor from an 89. I changed over the harnesses and fuel rail among other things. I also installed the A/T transmission from the 89. The car runs and for the most part the tranny shifts properly. The O/D OFF light blinks when O/D is on but not when it's off and it only shifts through ALL the gears when it's warmed up. What pins in the diag box do I jump to find the code? Can this problem be fixed? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I got 61 and 62. Is it possible that the connectors are the same but the wires may be swapped? I have an 87 and I just put the tranny from an 89 into it. I'm not trying to put the old tranny back in, but I will if I have no choice. It shifts a little harder but I know that it had no codes when I pulled it out.
