toyota is smart when it comes to releasing new cars. they're top of the pile, why waste money designing a sports car (admittedly, a lot of us would love to see another supra) but it's not economically smart. if they can be at the top without one, why make one?

only chance is if say nissan gets pushed ahead of toyota because of the 350 or the g35/37 (ie: studies show more drivers want performance). then they'll be pressed to keep pace.

Have you heard of Lexus?

I mean, regrettably Lexus Doesn't make anything sporty :sarcasm:, not like an IS-F with a 416hp V8 with an 8 speed sport shift automatic.

The IS-350 would be more direct competition to the 350Z at 300hp. The G35 at 306hp and the G37 at 330hp, of course, aren't in the IS-F's leauge. Those in the know call it the IS-FAST for a reason.

I would imagine any 'performance' vehicles that would come with a Toyota badge, nowadays, would be cars built with the intention to go quick for a small price.
