I have some ST Sway bars I want to get installed on my 89 turbo and am looking for a shop in the N.VA area to go to. Seems like an easy installation but there is no place to work on the car where I live and I have no jacks or lift.

Also the sway bars came with 2 sets of bushings and I am assuming you just reuse the end links? If there are any other notes of importance regarding this installation please advise.

Also the dealer wanted to charge me $240 just to install the front sway bar.....I started to laugh.

Do you have aftermarket end links? the stock ones tend to fail with stiffer swaybars. Re inforcing the mounting tabs is a good idea also.

the plastic ones wont fail :sarcasm: my front ones only broke when i hit a curb.

swaybars are super easy to do.. its a shame how much they charge to do it

Because i can (BIC) does

They are adjustable too! :D

I believe they also come with re-enforcing tabs you can weld over your stock end link mounting tabs to stop the tab from shearing off with the upgraded bars and end links.

Call Altered Atmospheres in Gaithersburg Md. See what they can do for you.
It's not a bad drive around 495 to get to the shop. Also you could call OZ
Racing, I think they are around Reston, if they wouldn't do the install they
should know someone closer to you. I know I spent $300 to have my front
and rear White Lines installed including some trouble shooting on a PS
problem I was having. That shop is here in Baltimore-Jeff Wise Automotive-
410-252-8361. It's about an hour run from Fairfax. Jeff is Really good,
especially on suspension set ups and alignment.
Oh yeah, I forgot he also installed my Lipp rear traction bars for that price.
