Swaping a 1jz from a 90 to a 87

I want to swap my 1jz from a 90 n/a into a 87 turbo chassis. If I read correctly the only thing that would be different is the motor mounts. Everything else should just swap over. Correct?

The wiring will be different too, you'll have to wire in the 87-88 style dash harness plugs.

OK I looked that up and It seems that the wires are the same but the plugs are different. So I'm thinking it shouldn't be that hard since It has already been wired before just a lot of cutting,soldering,and matching colors. Does that sound right?

Yes, all you have to do is cut and solder and swap the plugs around. Some of the wires go to different plugs etc so get the diagrams for both 87 and 90 and compare them carefully.
