So as many of you guys know ive been having problems with my 87 turbo supra with it turning on whenever it wants to and it stalling at stop signs at times. On the forums i started a thread talking about this issue and i was convinced that it was the cps because it throws me a code 12 sometimes. so i took it to the shop and the guy is telling me the problem is in the coil pack, the coil wires or the ignition coil module. so im stuck im not sure what to do. if anyone out there can please give me some advice that would be great. well id test all three of your issues per the tsrm. Or have your mechanic test them. Coil packs are very rare to go out, that is unless they are cracked, regarding the coil, have you done the ground mod? Check the coil pack wires for any fraying, tears, etc. But check them per the term if one of them fails you have your problem.
