I am sure not all of our dashes are the best, so now I ask the question, does any one know where to get a new one or if an interior shop would be able to fix it. I have looked for awhile for a new dash and I have had no luck.

toyota might have one if you got the $$$ but your best option is to look in the for sale section.

Used is best bet. Could take the dash out and have a shop redo it. I'd get a quote first tho.

yeah true the dash is just old and cracked so its finding a good shop to do it here in central valley cali if anybody knows a good shop near there let me know. I will have to see how far those junk yards are from where I live though.

I've always liked the way flocked dashboards look. Mine is in good shape but if it ever cracks I think that might be what I go for.

Suade.

Only prob going to a different color or style is the door panels and rest of interior might not match.

Flocked, alcantara, suede, it's all done to eliminate glared off the dashboard.

Not a bad thing to do, and it's proven to work (look at any serious race cars and you'll see it done)

Only bad side to it is cleaning it and making it last (as the sun will eat it)

yeah, you had better have good tint on the sides/rear (UV rated), and a sun visor and/or plain UV tint on the windshield, otherwise it won't last.
