The roads suck here in Cali. At the softest setting driving in town is getting unbearable. On the track or on the rare occasion you get a flat road they are awesome. Right now I have the suspension set to the recommended height. Everything suspension wise is new.

IIRC raising the car should make them softer due to the preload correct? According to the website, up to 2kg lower springs are available. Is that's enough to make a difference?

You can get pretty much whatever spring you want from them, and have the revalved as well (of course this all costs money).

I don't know about our cars, but I know for the miatas that the factory settings from Tein for the rear, they'll hammer the bumpstops to death because there isn't enough preload set to get the compression travel to where it needs to be.

Basicly, you increase the preload and lower the shock body to get the same ride height with increased travel.
