so i found a nut in my intake.....

so took the intake off, and found this chillin in the number 6 runner

pic inside the head, the number 12 vavle guide looks damaged, hard to tell

so is it salvageable? or is a new head in my future?

Prolly just needs a new valve guide. Can port polish while everything is off.

How did that get in there?

You'd likely need a motor machinist to tell you if it's salvageable, but I dont see why it wouldn't be. Unless you somehow damaged the valve seat and the cast aluminum it sits on I think you're fine. Valves are a cheap replacement, valve guides are cheap.

You've just got a good excuse to do a good valve job now that it's out. ;)
