The x-axis is damper shaft velocity and the y-axis is force.
So it tells you how much force the damper is putting out at what velocity. Different plots will have different sign conventions. But the legend should tell you which is which.

You should post the curves. I want to see them.
And it's not that you're looking for anything special, you're just looking for a certain amount of damping force. This is based on weight, spring rate, natural frequency, design intent, tires, etc. So there's no simple answer besides reading a bunch of books and/or getting a mechanical engineering degree.

ok here is a coilover system for the supra and the dyno is lower on the page and if you cauld explain this to me would be great i dont understand what all the lines mean i understand where the tq curve should be or the hp curve should be on a dyno but i am really lacking in my knolage of suspension dynamics thanks for all of your help
