Its not. Trust me. I check my oil and coolant levels damn near every day. It only burns a little oil on start up due to bad valve stem seals. The car has never over heated, (under my ownership atleast) never spewed coolant, and has never shown signs of a BHG. Not even down on power (clearly. lol) Also, head bolts are torqued to 70 ft lbs.

BTW these videos were shot with 3.9 gears. Not 4.3 LSD

I'd say you're doing it right sir, for doing that without boost. Where abouts are you on elevation? I'm surprised an NA could do that...

Im seriously starting to think this thing has turbo cams or something like that. Ill have to measure them when I rebuild the head and put a turbo on. Lol

But Im in nebraska.. I really dunno what elevation it is, but its not high and its not sea level.

I found out that mine sucks at locking when its cold. It pissed me off. Lol

when i had my NA i would rip it like that all the time. :p Clutch started to go so i decided to go out big and blow it, so i had a reason to swap the 1j in. My third rod bearing was roasted away. It had 189,000 on it.
