what up all, i wanted to see if anyone thought i was on the right track with my timing curve. first off my mods: eagle rods, probe pistons.020"over,cometic MHG, 57trim ct26,aftermarket intercooler and radiator with 680cc siemens deka injectors fed by walboro 255.compression ration is roughly 8.6:1 . my EMS is a SDS em3-6fwhich uses a hall effect magnet sensor for timing, and a map sensor for load. here is my plan for timing with up to
18psi,with 91-93 octane and rich afr's:

MAP (psi) I<--------------total timing btdc-------------I
18--/----18 ----- 17----- 17----- 17 ----- 17

15--/----18----- 18 ----- 18 ----- 18 ----- 18

13--/----18 ----- 18 ----- 18 ----- 18 ----- 18

10--/----18 ----- 18 ----- 18 ----- 18 ----- 18

8 --/---- 20----- 18 ----- 18 ----- 18 ----- 18

4 --/---- 20 ----- 20 ----- 20 ----- 20 ----- 20

2 --/---- 26 ----- 26 ----- 26 ----- 26 ----- 26

0 --/---- 30 ----- 30 ----- 33 ----- 33 ----- 32

in Hg - vacuum

-8" --/---- 33 ----- 33 ----- 33 ----- 33 ----- 34

-14"--/---- 33 ----- 33 ----- 33 ----- 33 ----- 34

RPM ----- 3000 --- 4000 --- 5000 --- 6000--- 7000

mainly i am wondering if 17-18deg btdc is retarded/advanced enough for 91 octane with 18psi at a 8.6:1C.R. what do you guys think? is this timing curve safe, conservative, aggresive?
