Got the SAFCII black installed about 2 weeks ago, was working fine, aside from the fact that ocassionally the VFD wouldn't turn on. i finally tracked it down to a loose ground (the black wire) well recently that problem resurfaced and so i redid the ground, NOW.. my SAFC doesn't work.. the screen turns on.. but i'll get either a bunch of horizontal, vertical, checkered patterns depending on which way i spin the dial.. and after it cycles through all those it takes me to a screen where it shows current version, and all the sensor inputs and reads NG.. thats the only four screens i get. is it fried? and how can i fix it if it is.

Remove it and take the red, black and brown wires and touch it to the battery. red= + black&brown= - and see if it will reset. I did that to my safc and it work.
