Okay, so my wife insists every car should have a name and my supra's is Rupert... <shrug>
This is my baby, the day after coming back from paint. Two days after I flew across the country to work - I don't get to see her for two weeks :cry:
The plan:
1. Suspension upgrade (it was undriveable) - done
2. Basic fixes that I can do - mostly done
3. Body work (after I screwed it up) - done (fix rust spots, remove rear wiper and antenna, paint)
4. Get Etest (smog) and engine assessment/test and drive around for the summer - pending
5. Engine rebuild- Fall 2015
-9:1 compression pistons? not sure this is a good idea. discuss if you like.
6. Re-cover seats - Spring 2016
7. Carpets - maybe
8. Upgrade intake and exhaust
9. Lex AFM and 550s
10. Tires (might be sooner than this, probably will be)
11. Paint wheels (body guy didn't do this, but I got a great deal so no complaints)
12. Cosmetic fixes like LED dash lights, pedals, shifter and brake boot etc.
I'll try to keep this updated, but lordy I'm bad at that.
