Running Rich? Bad plugs?

I have to drive the 7mge supra for awhile now because my spare car to drive while we swapped the 7mgte in the mk3 quit working. So we fixed up the supra to drive again, aka replacing the water pump. I also fixed a slight intake leak where the rubber sealed over top of the metal tube that goes over top the engine. After all this seems to get quite better mileage. But the car still smells like a gas station horribly, you can definitely smell gas out of the exhaust. I'm guessing this has to do with it running rich correct? For awhile I had oil sitting on top of the engine in the chamber where the plugs are. We fixed that leak but could that oil have ruined some plugs or wires that causes it to run rich or have rare sputters/misfires?

If it's running that rich, you may be washing out the cylinders with all of that gas.

Have you tried a different ecu to see if it makes a difference?

Well it runs great way better than that eclipse ever did, just can really smell a strong fuel scent. I don't have another ecu just laying around lol. Only a 2 turbo ones.
