Hi Guys,

Recently swapped my w58 out for a R154, now with my W58 my speed was pretty much accurate ( a few km/h out) after swapping to a R154 my speed is way off, @ 80km/h its 10km/h out and scales up and speed increases.

My car has 4.3-4.56 diff gears (not %100 sure.) What can be done to correct this?

I've got a digital dash (Aus = RHD :D) so the speedo cable does not go into the dash cluster, it goes into sensor, has anyone successfully manipulated a speedo signal for this?

My brief search turned up no results.

The R154 probably came out of a car with 3.73 or 3.9 rear vs your 4.3 or 4.56, which is why it's off. You can change the physical gears that drive the speed sensor in the trans to correct this.

If you have a cable that goes to the dash, you can get a 'ratio adapter' to correct the speedo as well. It goes inline between the trans & cable.

Here's one pictured on my W58:
