Im rebuilding my R154 that I shattered the thrust washer.
What I need is the thickness of the first gear (thrust washer surface). My thrust washer is 6 pieces. First gear looks good. But Im sure it took some material off. I dont feel like assembling everything to check clearances, then tear back off to replace the gear.
Im probably asking alot, but figured its worth a shot.
Im thinking about machining oil grooves in the gear for more lubrication to thrust washer. Which is what should have been done in the first place. Instead of grooves in washer.
Let me know if anyone has a R154 apart they could mic the gear.
