Question? Haltech sport 2000 on 2jz gte anyone using the stock ignition module?

i got a haltech sport 2000 coming for my 2jz gte in a conquest.. i have a brand new stock ignition module, and a jdm ecu right now.. it runs as it stands, and doing upgrades, i have heard that i cant use the stock ignition module to power the coils, and that i need a aftermarket cdi of some sort.

Anyway know this 100 percent. just planning ahead
