Oh ignorance. Yes, stem cells were taken for the original sample by the company that is experimenting on these sweeteners, but they were only used as a template. They created a modified version of the cell to use in lab experiments, and the final products they put in beverages and foods are all synthetically created in laboratory environments. No actual fetal cells are in the foods you eat, they were only used in the laboratory tests.
