Photo contest?!?!?

Let me introduce you to the Mk3 owners apathy 
If you don't push HARD on something like this it will just fade away in a week or so and never be seen again.

There are a couple of really talented photographers here and a few "Pic of the Day" type threads, look up user "Dan McBoost"
I've been toying with this idea myself. I think a "Chop Shop" contest would be cool.
It could work something like this...
Someone (coordinator, Grimjack for example) posts up two car pictures. Start a poll on which car will be chopped. Once the car is chosen, post a deadline. Everyone posts their entries then have another poll for everyone to choose a winner.
Then maybe have some sort of prize for 1st place. Nothing grand. Maybe just a 'T' shirt of their winning work.

mmmm they do something like this on Photography-on-the-net.com It's a canon site and normally they do contest like this every week. I'm in.

Hmm...I guess I should clearify my idea.
I am referring to modifying a selected car photo. Basically, having a friendly battle of "Chopping" (aka: Photoshop'ing) skills.
I don't know how many of us graphic designers and/or photoshop goo-roos are out there; but, that could be fun!

I envision having a pic of say....a stock Tundra. Then everyone does their magic and posts it up before the deadline.
The original would be the first post and everyone's chops would be posted below the original. A poll would be setup for the thread and the voting would commence.

Although I have been deep into photoshop in V2.0 I can not say I would want to have to photoshop every shot. Seems rather F&F. Taking amazing photos without hacking them up is the art form.
^Photoshopping is far from hacking and in itself, is an art form.
Should anyone want to strut their "photoshop" stuff, let's get it on!
Or any other light-hearted competitions. There are a lot of talented people around here. Let's have a little fun!
