Panoz Esperante Photoshoot

When I was down in FL last month, I did a photoshoot with my best friend's Panoz Esperante. First some of the goodies about the car:

Full carbon fiber body
Aluminum frame
Supercharged 4.6
Tuned by JDI
Gos like f'ing hell.
AMAZING steering feel and response
AMAZING braking
AMAZING exhaust note (especially through the Lauderdale tunnel)

But... the gauge cluster is in the center which sucks if you don't know the motor.
The steering wheel is 1.5" off-body-center
The pedals are spaced so that heel-toe is extremely extremely difficult
Seats kinda suck

Spent the day driving the snot out of it while looking for good locations to shoot. We were saving sunset for one location out in Davie, but it was shut down when we got there. Next time I'm down we're going to try for a permit to shoot there.. cause omg the location is amazing (no public pictures.. just have to wait for it )

450hp in a car that weights about as much as a miata....


Yea it's fast.. but only until you get to around 5krpm. with the blower, low rpm power is fantastic. just glorious.. but it dies as soon as you get to around 5k, so you have to short shift. Not the fastest car I've driven, but its a glorious sense of theater, and people are always interested in it.. they don't hate you like they do when you drive exotics.
