This is the only car community I know so figured it would not hurt to ask for some advice on my 08 Toyota Corolla.
The climate control has 3 lights one for each knob usually 2/3 are lit with the 3rd one off. Sometimes if i turn the 3rd knob the light will turn on other times it just stays off.
Also the lights along the shifter are all out most of the times. Sometimes randomly on longer trips they will turn and and continue to work.
This has been occurring pretty much since we bought the vehicle and all the dealership wanted to do was replace the climate control completely which is pretty obviously not the problem.
Where do I start? I would assume the switch that adjusts all the lights in cockpit would be the culprit but not sure how some lights are effected while others are not.
