Fist things first, my name is Mathew, I live in Vermont. Im pretty good with a wrench and I love tinkering under the hood. I bought my 87 mk3 for 1,000 off my buddy. Who couldn't get it running. It needed a fuel pump. Its got 150,000 miles on it, and other then the blown headgasket, I love this car, handling, style, performance, I think its a one of a kind car.
Right now the ol girls under the knife but I'm installing the following mods:
HKS 1.2mm metal bead style headgasket, ARP head studs, walbro 255, Brian Crower stage 2 street and strip cams, port and polish, lipp egr delete plates, Godspeed fmic kit, OBX cam gears (which I don't plan on keeping) full 3in down, test pipe, cat back, Mishimoto thermostat, radiator and slim fans, Sparco shift knob, Sparco Strada wheel, NRG hub and quick release, full sillicone hose kit, HKS SSQBOV, AEM wideband kit, HKS turbo timer, OML 10mm plug wires and a 60 trim ct-26 turbo.
I wanna run 12psi when it comes back out.
