New in town. Whats shakin'?

New to the site. Have lurked for a while but haven't registered til now. A buddy of mine has been on here for quite a while, so i thought i would sign up.

Currently I own two mkiv's. A 93 n/a -Full US spec TT swap. And my 94 pos. (was my donor car). Hopefully soon i will be buying back my old mkIII which i just found out was sold on the site back in september as a shell. :icon_evil

Welcome!...and that's a very clean '93 you've got.

Yes, there's not much worse or frusterating of a feeling to have sold a nice looking car,
and later come to find out it was parted out/wrecked/trashed, etc.

believe it or not, i can not stand red. AT ALL. But when i bought the mkIII the maroon was beautiful. I bought my first mkiv, black, and it was a pile of shit from the get go. The second mkiv, the red one, was initially for the wife. neither of us like red, but again, the red just popped. it was gorgeous. And after i did the motor swap, its too quick for her. I again have another red car.





maybe i do like red...
