Need help with the MAF: info needed

hey everyone i think im having a problem related to the MAF... about a year ago i had a bunch of work done to my car. exhaust, trans and a few other things all around the same time. well something happened to the MAF that was on my car (1988) and i took a spare one from my 1991 and put it on in its place. well after that i lost a crap load of gas mileage (300 mile per tank to 200 miles per tank) i was wondering if this is related to the MAF. I've already checked the trans and changed the exhaust so that lead me to think its the MAF.

edit: its not the MAF its the AFM (they basically mean the same thing)

please NO GUESSING, if you know something it would be greatly appreciated

have an emissions test done and post the results on the graph....check codes...then we can help

His O2 sensor was bad...

yeah the O2 sensor on the exhaust manifold was bad... which i cant confirm it till i go throught my next tank of gas but i believe thats what was causing me to loose 100 miles to my tank. use to be 300 miles per tank, with the bad O2 sensor it was 200 miles per tank.
