Hi this is Robert from Shaftmasters, which is a company located in Lincoln Park,Mi. that manufactures and repairs driveshafts. We recently have developed and have been selling some of our driveshafts for the MKIII on Supramania. We hope that eventually we can develope a replacement shaft for the MKIV as well but need some information to get started. Does anyone know if the differentials on the MKIII and MKIV are basically the same or are they totally different models. We are wondering if a pinion flange off of a MKIII will fit onto the MKIV pinion shaft. This could help immensely toward eliminating the tripod rubber disc setup it currently uses. We are also wondering if anyone knows if the pilot diameter and bolt pattern on the transmission flange is the same as is used on the pinion flange for the MKIII.Any help in answering these questions would be greatly appreciated and would be a good starting point in developing a product that you could use.
Robert
