Motor Flush

hi haven't notice anything on the sticky about motor flush so here goes.
i have read the sticky on what oil and filter to use on the car but my concerns are i don't know what type of oil the previous owner have used or did he change his oil at all.
car have 125k mile so i was thinking about using motor flush and start over. I don't know if its a good thing or a bad thing.
I am a total noob in turbo as my 87 turbo is my first I've own.
i have check the oil thats in the car now and seems to be really dark and don't think thats really good.
also replacing the turbo because i found a leak with the dirty oil

I would just do a regular oil change and put some 5w30 or 0w30 oil and a purolator or wix filter on.

As for the turbo part no idea what your talking about. If its for the oil feed or return gasket leaking just change them. If the turbo is damaged then it needs to be rebuilt or replaced. Stay away from eBay for turbos...

Gasket is most likely bad for the turbo oil return. Get a new gaskets.

The compressor wheel looks to be ok from that pic.

The day I see an original 7m that isn't filthy...

Anyway, change out your rubber hoses and gaskets, clean up the motor, change the oil and filter (as per hvyman's recommendation), and you should be good to go. :)

Iirc napa gold filters are made by wix.

That is a true statement. O'Reilly's carries Wix in Phoenix - I'm sure you can order them in your area. Rock Auto online is another option.
