So maybe you guys can help me since there is only 1 other guy i know running a maftpro on his 1uz, but i'm having this weird issue that happens occasionally. In between shifts the car seems to lean out (off the a/f gauge) then dump gas back in. so basically inbetween shifts i have this bucking feeling. (car looses power for maybe 1 sec right after i shift while the motor rpms go down) this is happening on just city cruising. any ideas? sorry i dont have any logs... i honestly still need to learn alot about the maftpro still. thanks :1zhelp:

I have a lot to learn about the Maft-Pro also but I'll try to help. Leaning out after letting of the gas is normal. If you are getting a bucking between shifts if may be your gain adjustment. Too high will cause fluctuations, too low the Maft will not adjust quick enough. Try playing with the gain in Tune responce to see if you can work it out.

Maybe the Maft-Pro experts will chime in with some better info ;)

I believe you can set either to zero to turn off PTT.

Also I don't think 5.0 is right for the settings. I have my Idle TPS at .54 a little above your idle TPS voltage.

The cruise TPS I have at 2.5.

You can verify that PTT tracking (or AFR tracking, for that matter) are off by watching the 'AF Tracking enable' in the ALDL Flags section.

Read this: http://www.supramania.com/forums/showthread.php?t=43839

5.0 for 'Part Throttle Tracking Idle TPS' should disable all PTT. It should do this because the TPS will never generate 5 volts, and this value needs to be exceeded before PTT will kick in.

look at session 3-5 in the adl. ignore the name because i was messing with ptt for the hell of it but i switched everything back to my old settings. i also noticed that my boost pressure never went into the positive... escpecially on the last session where i really got on it.... what could that be?

edit:: i looked at another old log i had and the boost pressure did get in the postives. i will try to confirm that again during my lunch break. perhaps my laptop was having an issue (its got that hard drive protection mode where if it senses vibration it parks the head... meaning i might have lost data)

Number of cyl. should be 6, displacement should be close to 3 liter, the other setting I'm not real sure about I'm NA.
Both of your gain settings are at "O" , I'd try 5-7 to start with. TB size might be a little big IDK for sure, some of the turbo guys will probably chime in on the other settings and correct me if I'm wrong, a lot of the settings just don't look right to me.

Btw I don't have a 7m. Its a 1uztt. As an update I had sneakypete take a look at my car yesterday. The car pulls amazing now. We think that the idle issues aren't maftpro related because at cruise and wot the car is perfect. Ill be looking into it more tonight.

If you didn't know the stock 1UZ computer retards timing when it shifts when using the automatic transmission. Don't know if that helps any or not. I have a 1UZ in my 88 toyota truck.
