Any of you guys use them? I was thinking since I'm 5spd It would help me load the car a little bit before the launch and help with doing some burn outs. It's not that expensive and pretty easy to install.

Just seeing if you guys have had any success with these?

Grab a flaring tool, some line, and a line lock and make the kit yourself. It'll be MUCH cheaper that way! I *think* Titan offers a kit. It's very expensive. I'd prefer to build my own.

they work really well for doing burn outs... i've never used it to put a load on the engine because i dont want to destory my clutch anymore than it already is.

There are some on Summit for about $60, and there is a local shop that can supply me with the parts.

I don't think that it would hurt it all that much.

If you want to load the engine before launch, get a 2 step. If you want to lock up your front tires for the burnout, get a line lock.

This is everything you need to do the job in -3 AN braided stainless high pressure line. A DIY plugnplay kit relatively cheap, much cheaper than the kits out there. However it is the summit line lock. A much higher quality solenoid is the hurst roll control, but is also much more expensive. I run the summit in both supras and the hurst in the truck.

You will need a momentary switch of your choice. I left that out since some people might want different styles of switch. You may also need 2 1/8" npt plugs on the solenoid. My line lock only had an inlet and outlet which did not require plugs, however, summit is now saying it has 3 outlets which would require two to be blocked.

You can look at mine at TX; I bought a brake line segment and two inverted flare adapters from O'reillys for about $7, bent the line segments, and flared the new lines.

I'll try to get pics today.

The braided lines that jollyroger is talking about will make it a little easier to route due to flexibility
