So I'm working on my car today and noticed when i would try to rev it up it felt like something was stopping it. Found out that the kick down cable was stuck. I noticed that part of it was on the exhaust manifold. So my question is could it have melted the internal part of the cable and when it cooled it bonded it together? I tried to free it. Took it off the throttle and pulled on it pretty good and it didn't budge. Didn't want to take a chance of braking something in the transmission it it decided to let go. Also i looked for a part number on the cable on the TSRM and i couldn't find it.

How much of a pain in is it to change this cable?

Thanks, Todd

No it is near the exhaust manifold. It was further with the n/a motor but with the new location of the line pressure cable it pulled it really close to the exhaust. I had it away from the Exhaust but it must have move when i was working on it. Do you know about the lenghts of the cables from turbo to n/a motors?
