If I use a -6AN oil drain hose in a Garrett 35R, can I damage the turbo?

The reason is because the oil outlet is near of the turbine inlet flange, so if I use a -8 or -10 AN 45 degree connector will hit the flange.

So what do you think?

I come from a land down under
Mine is -12 but that only because I'm using the port on the GroupA pan, -10 is plenty as it allows for bends in the hose without it becoming too restritive.

Just remember it's a gravity drain so it MUST go downhill at all times.
