Hey guys,

A website I use daily to run client reports has started showing me this error:

<a href="javascript:AdviserPage()" onMouseOver="changeImg(1,tru

This error appears where some links used to be to access other pages.

What is really bizarre is that under my same login on a different pc, I can view everything on the site without error, yet nothing was done to my pc prior to this error occuring.

I called the company that adminsters the website and they say it's an issue with my pc.

Thoughts?

yes, go to sun.com and download the latest Java.
make sure the Java plug in is enabled in the IE (if that is what you are using) under the Tools > Internet Options > Advanced.

Close the browser, and reboot and retry ...

Thanks guys, will try that when I am back in the office in the morning.

(Would do it remotely, but if I login, I'll start working and will never get to bed lol!)

Sounds like your javascript engine is on the fritz. Remove and re-install, see if that fixes it.

We win.

Hmmm. See, this is quite difficult to figure out. However, judging by the angle of the fender in your avatar, coupled with the angle of the sun shining on the car, I'm willing to bet that a simple un-install/install of the latest java will likely solve your problems.

If it doesn't it's likely because of the clear blinkers refracting the light, thus messing with the appearance of the angles. Send them to me and get get some orange ones, and your problems will most definitely be solved.

Guys, uninstalled and reinstalled Java, checked it is enabled, then restarted my browser - no luck! :( (no luck in either IE or Firefox)

This is really starting to shit me, because we don't have a spare pc for me to jump on to run these reports.
