Hey guys, I have a 94 supra 2jzgte. The problem is that the car sat for years and now hesitates really bad. Tank was drained, new fuel pump, fuel lines, iac valve, pressure regulator,injectors,coils and plugs,coolant sensor and cleaned the maf and new air filter. It runs at perfect idle but hesitates and detonated under load. You have to play with the throttle to get revs up but it won't maintain a higher rpm. If the intake hose is removed it runs better but then there is no turbo. Intake hose removed it will spool great and rev higher but its for nothing w/o the intake hose connected. I don't want to throw parts at it as it's not cheap. Is this the maf?? Does this car have a vent door as well that could be malfunctioning? I have been on other forums as well and I'm trying to narrow this down. Car ran perfect when parked.
