hey guys my plans are 2jzge w/ 7mgte eletronics, holset h1c @ 17-22psi for approx 450rwhp, car is a 1988 burgandy supra:love:

so heres the boat im in:

in a couple days im going be taking my 2jzge block w/ 2jzgte pistons, con-rods, and crank to be blueprinted..

ill include the hone, deck for flat, and mic for clearances on main and con-rod journals but also check cyl walls for taper, (i doubt because 2jz's are stout as they come but mileage on this block is M.I.A!) since im useing low (60K+/-) mileage tt pistons. i dont mind spending a extra $$ to make sure i can still use my used pistons.

QUESTIONS:

what i want to know is will i need factory toyota bearings? like where i have to call toyota and give them the measurements for the journals and such for the right bearings??

-or-

will a set of acl bearings work if they meet the clearances needed?

same goes for pistons. will i need factory toyota rings or will a set of npr rings work?

any info is welcome.

I think it depends on whether your having the crank cut. I know some ppl who have the crank cut one size over and use bearings that are one size over.
