the other day I was troubleshooting a bad retractor controller when I accidentally shorted out the electro-magnet switch. Now the head lights will not retract or move at all, and once I flip the lights on they will not go out at all unless I unplug the rectractor control box. Both the old retractor box and the new junk one do the same thing, and a new headlight relay didnt work either. what in the world could be wrong with this car?

Ok, so I the reason the headlights would not move is because the 30 amp RTR fuse was blown. Now that the fuse is replaced its back to the original problem of one headlight not flipping up. The up and down limits seem to work on that motor and the motor runs and works fine, but the computer will not tell that motor to run.

Ok the problem ended up being a broken ground leading from one of the headlight retractor plugs to the retracor computer. that you for the overwhelming support
