I just finished my jzx73 swap and took the car for its first drive,. Everything was fine up untill i let off the gas and heard a horrible grinding noise and banging that actually brought the car to a stop. It does it worse in neutral than when its in gear... what could this be? Bad pilot bearing?

Also, this dosn't happen in reverse. I recently installed a 1 piece driveshaft. Through my research i think it could be the tranny, axels or the clutch :(

I am using the driftmotion 1 pc aluminum. I have a feeling i might have unballanced one of the ends because i idiotically hit one of the joints with a hammer thinkin it was meant to come off. Maybe that could be it? Also to put the shaft in i had to drop the diff subframe maybe somehing is loose? But i do hear grinding by the shifter and behind it..

Its in a decent amount but could definatley go in at least another. .5" or 1" if the shaft was longer. Possibly too short? Not in far enough so its slipping?
