UUC has gone seriously downhill. I have personally had their transmission mounts tear right in half. I've got pics, but they're on my home PC. I've also got their poly rear trailing arm bushings (RTABs for you Bimmer guys) and while they're still ok, I think they're too stiff to properly allow the trailing arm to articulate. (moves on more than one axis)

I've rebuilt the entire suspension on my M3, there's not a single old bushing under my car. I think the only things that UUC gets right now are sway bars (and they include crappy bushings), and the clutch pedal bushings.

My main gripe with them is that Rob, the owner, REFUSES to take responsibility for the failure of his parts. He ALWAYS blames it on user error, or a "bad batch" of bushings that's been going on for years. Anyone ever heard of a "money shift?" Me neither, until I joined the M3 community three years ago. Think- missed shift that over revs the motor thus causing the valves/pistons to collide and killing your motor = expensive, hence, money shift.

I'll put money on it that the number one reason these money shifts happen, is because of bad transmission mounts (which is a maintenance issue- the owner's fault) I had UUC red poly motor mounts on my car for a YEAR, and one of them tore in half. There are COUNTLESS other threads regarding the exact same issue. I've since switched to Vorshlag orange poly bolt-through tranny mounts, and Vorshlag red poly bolt-through motormounts and couldn't be happier.
