first time at the track

well i went to the local 1/8 track to day and ran for the first time heres my times

not bad for a guy thats never ran a car off a tree before my modds are
megan down pipe
3" exhaust
no cat
shimmed waste gate to 10psi
k&n intake


now for the bad part when was in line for my last run i think i got a rod knock i pulled off the track flung a fit and started to up the road after about a mile the knock went away i drove home 40 miles away and still no knock the oil pressure is good it isn't low on oil so i have no idea i hope it was just a faluke

I hate 1/8 tracks as the Supra shines at the rest of the track.

i forgot to mention it was a test and tune so notrak prep lol i saw my friends allwheel drive talon spin all of first gear lol any ideas about the knock becaue its really bothering me

Check your oil pressure with a manual gauge

ok this might be a dumb question but are my bearings ok? i mean since it went away does that mean no major damage?

Not bad at all. I am working on getting my time up too. You might try to reduce the weight in the front of the car. That was my most recent mod. It made a huge difference.
