Visited my body guy today to see the progress. Getting closer to the paint booth!

Does anyone know if front turn lights and the rears are still available new?

Finally back on the road with a fresh coat of Supra Silver!

The front turn lights and the rear turn lights??
You mean front turn signals and rear tail lights? I think so.

Congrats on getting it painted. To see if they are still available go to the TSRM website and go to the EPC(electronic parts catalog) and find the turn signals and tail lights part numbers and then search for them on google/toyotapartszone.com. This should tell you if they are still available.

Hi Scot

A very nice - clean job.

The car looks great - sure you will have many happy days driving it.

What paint and clear coat did your friend use ?

As for prep work, did he spray with high build / sanding guide / block ?

Was base coat wet sanded ?

For clear coat > how many coats ?

Were they buffed and polished ?

We are getting closer to the paint stage.
Plan is another coat of high build / block and sand / then paint
and wet sand and then clear coat / then buff and polish each step.

Objective is to get the car as straight as possible ..

Again - great job - looks very nice

Doug

thanks for the compliments. Honestly I can't answer any of your questions but will ask my body guy. I know the clear coat he used was $350 a gallon.... Over all I am really pleased on the end result. Of course there are a couple of little things that comes with a total paint job... (Things the person with the average eye would never see). I usually can't stand many paint jobs I've seen based on poor prep, etc. I would much rather have a few ticky tacky things I can point out vs the entire car needing work done! I'm looking forward to completing some other things now like new brakes and exhaust.
