well i opened up my LSD 4.3 diff to check the fluid and there was quite a bit of pressure in there. i had to hold the plug from shooting out at me. what could be causing this? hot fluid? the car was dead cold BTW. Also what kind of fluid should i use to fill it up with? we have pensoil brand oil that i can use at work.

If I remember correctly, there's a one way check valve on top right of the diff cover that's supposed to vent that excess pressure - it may be clogged.
