I've seen all kinds of motors in a z, ka24de, sr20det, 7mgte, 2jz, 1jz, v8's, v10, gnz v6, vg30dett.

man oh man, if i had my choice. a 240z or 280z w/ a 2J would be the perfect old school car.

Its like a rocket on wheels.. A guy locally here has a 240z powered by a 7M and big turbo IIRC hes in the 500+whp area..

Sounds like you have seen Cliftons Z is it silver, I will be joining the ranks of a 500+whp 7m very soon, just in a Z :evil2:

Man, I love old Z's. There is a early 80's one for sale up the street from me but mid to late 70's just look so much better.
