Crank Angle sensor

Did a check and realized i had no power going to my crank angle sensor. Just wondering where does it wire into? I have a soarer 1jz automatic engine with stock ecu

You won't have power to the wire. A voltage is generated every time the wheel passes by the sensor.

You can check the resistance of the sensor and the wire but the best method to check a cam or crank sensor is with a oscilliscope.

Same answer- using an oscilloscope. Lots of signals are too fast for any ordinary meter to pick up on, which is why scopes exist. Now the fun part is determining what is a good and bad signal.
