costs for rebuilding bottom end

hey guys

well... my motor started rod knocking this morning... after putting about 500 miles on it after the swap. im tired of messing with it for now. :cry:

any of you guys ever have a shop pull and rebuild your engine/bottom end?
bout how much do you think i should be expecting to pay?

I was quoted $1500 + core to get Coated Stock Pistons, shot peened rods, clevite bearings, high flow Oil pump, polished and balanced crank and new rings..

all assembled (not inculding water pump, oil pan, accessories)

thats not to bad of a price, was that including parts (most likely not).
