Hey guys, this is Xtreme's girlfriend and i have never written on here so bare with me. I'm supposed to be checking his post for him on the backfiring thing, but i can't find it. So He put that Zylean (sp) stuff in the tank to clean the fuel injectors and now it is running really rich and backfiring on deacceleration. I'm driving it and it really sucks!! lol so i think that it is the O2 sensor, i think that the zylean burned up the O2 sensor making it run real rich and backfire. The only thing that stumps me is that the car isn't throwing a code and you think it would if the O2 sensor was bad, so is it possible that the zylean could have messed up the O2 sensor, so the ecm is still getting a reading so it isn't throwing a code, but it still causes it to run rich and backfire? Please help me out, i want the backfiring to stop!!
