Hey everyone at Supramania, I have been here before, but after a sloppy BHG for my high school senior project I sold my supra with a rod knock, and now I drive a 95 Legacy.
The good news, I found another supra at an incredible price ( same as my first one $500) except this one comes with a mint condition interior and a clean title.
The bad, this one also comes with the infamous BHG, and the owner doesn't want to deal with it.. ( plus he has a nice caddy.)
I would like to throw out a question to everyone... what are the MAIN parts I need to replace when doing the HG job? such as: new gaskets, ARP studs, new HG, shave the head.... I really don't want to have to screw up another engine.
Any insightful or helpful comments are greatly appreciated.
