I mainly got this unit for the rear view/back up camera and bluetooth features, and the 200 plus cd capacity. Never been really up to date with this stuff until now. I had an Alpine installed on the car for 10 years and never really had a problem with it. But the Avic z3 even woke up the old stock speakers.

Drive mode, don't have to watch behind me all the time but it's nice to be able to.

Nice Ron. I have the D2 and love it. I'm sure you'll be happy with it. Oh, I recommend that you get the Ipod device from the guy on Ebay, it's nice to let the kids watch a movie from the Ipod as you're buzzing down the road :icon_bigg

I might do that :) I didn't think about the ipod videos.

Did you end up installing the microphone in the place I suggested? Hahaha that's my favorite part about you new system! Looks good Ron! It was fun watching you install the camera ;)

Looks excellent. I'm debating on what to do with the DD opening in my truck right now and the Z3 is up near the top of the list. Clean install as always :)
